Ambassadors Program in New Jersey

Over the past four years, the Steinsaltz Ambassadors have worked with over 1,000 children, teens and adults in the Central-Northern New Jersey area. Ambassadors Lavi Kreizman and Uriel Segal, Gavriel Fialkoff and Shlomo Spivak, Natan Gezundheit and Aharon Billet and Refael Kauders and Naftali Goldstein garnered community-wide support, and even media attention for their work with their communities.

 

 

Binyamin                             Elnatan

 

Binyamin Zuckerman and Elnatan Segal, New Jersey's 2009-2010 Ambassadors, arrived in September.  Binyamin attended Rabbi Steinsaltz's Mekor Chaim High School and hesder yeshiva in Tekoa and served in the Israeli army.  He has volunteered with secular students students in Jerusalem and spent two summers in Russia organizing summer camp and teaching basic Judaism. 

 

Elnatan was also a student at Mekor Chaim High School and Rabbi Steinsaltz's hesder yeshiva in Tekoa. He served in the Israeli army in a paratrooper unit and as company medic.  Elnatan has worked with kids with special needs, served as a Bnei Akiva advisor, and worked on Jewish identity programming. He is also a saxophone player.
