Schools in Israel

Founded 26 years ago by Rabbi Steinsaltz with 15 students, the Mekor Chaim network now teaches 840 youngsters in four schools:

• Yeshiva Mekor Chaim, a high school located in Gush Etzion




• Mekor Chaim-Netiv Meir Junior High School that opened last year in Jerusalem




• Mekor Chaim elementary school for boys and Laura Modigliani Della Seta Elementary School for girls




• Yeshiva Gevoha, a post-high school, hesder yeshiva located in Tekoa.

The schools are known for their innovative programming, which goes beyond academics to encourage social responsibility through volunteerism and military and national service.
