The Mishnah on Bava Batra 77 continues the discussion of what is included in the standard sale of certain objects. When there is an agreement to sell a karon - wagon or chariot - it does not ordinarily include the peradot, and vice versa. Most commentaries define the peradot as the animals that pull the wagon (in Hebrew a mule is a pered). The Rambam explains the peradot as the boards extending from the wagon to which the animals were attached.
